Place your tablet on the stand, than adjust the hook as shown.
Pop Stream uses your tablet’s camera to “see” the game board while you’re playing. In order to “see” the game board, you have to align your tablet with the game board. Following the on screen instructions when prompted by the Pop Stream App.
If someone bumps the game board out of alignment during play, that’s okay! Simply realign the game board with the image and continue playing. The game will pause while you do this.
To save space on your tablet, Pop Stream uses your Wi-Fi to stream all of the video clips and pictures to your game in real time. If you know you are going to be without Wi-Fi access, you can pre-load content onto your tablet by using the “Store Questions” feature in Settings. If you run out of questions that are stored without a Wi-Fi connection, the questions may repeat. In this case, connect to a Wi-Fi source to stream or download new questions.
If you have an iPad with both LTE (cellular) and Wi-Fi and have difficulty starting the App, please try turning off your cellular data. To do this go to the iPads Settings:
Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > Switch to Off Position
If your tablet is connected to your local Wi-Fi network, you should see this symbol when you open Pop Stream. You’re ready to play!
If your internet connection is too slow, you will see this alert. Video and images may stream slowly.
If no Wi-Fi is available, you will see this warning. Exit the program and check your Wi-Fi settings. If you’re in the middle of the game, Pop Stream will save your progress.
To check to see if your operating system meets the minimum requirements, follow these steps:
If the version of your operating system does not meet the minimum requirements outlined above, upgrade to the latest version. It is also advisable to be on the latest operating system version for the best performance. To upgrade, follow these steps:
When you select play and create a new game, you have an opportunity to be in the movies! After choosing your team’s name, tap on Add Player to add a new selfie to Pop Stream.
To take the perfect selfie, line your mouth and eyes up with the image shown. Your mouth should be split in half by the line. Your eyes should be lined up with the eyes (more or less, this doesn’t have to be perfect). Press the camera icon at the bottom to take your picture. If you don’t like it and want to take another, trash it and try again.
